Founded in 1966, AMETEK MOCON has grown to be a global leader in gas measurement instruments in a wide range of industries from food packaging and production to healthcare, electronics, oil and gas, air monitoring and many more. Headquartered in Minnesota, USA, our other major facilities include Ringsted, Denmark and Braintree, UK.
Our product offerings are all based upon gas analysis and control, which is seen in our diverse product line of permeation instruments, process analyzers, package testing instruments, and extensive line of gas sensors for OEM manufacturers:
Our MOCON line of permeation instruments are used to measure oxygen, water and carbon dioxide transmission rates through barrier films and packages. Our process analyzers include Baseline series of gas chromatographs are used in applications ranging from surface logging to environmental air monitoring for warning systems in facility safety.
Our line of Dansensor package testing instruments are used for quality assurance and quality control of packages that are protected with a controlled gas composition. Examples primarily include testing gas headspace in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
Our Alphasense sensors are designed for OEM manufacturers of handheld and fixed industrial gas detection monitors. Applications range from use in handheld devices for personal safety, to large scale implementation to monitor air quality and detect potentially harmful trace gasses.
Along with manufacturing industry leading leak and permeation detection instruments, we also provide Gas Testing Services, which allows the use of our MOCON and Dansensor instruments in the world’s largest permeation laboratory for simplified package testing.
